If you are living or working in Switzerland and have a B Permit you have a unique opportunity to buy a chalet or apartment which would not normally be authorised for sale to foreigners. The properties below are available only to Swiss passport holders or other nationals who hold a Swiss B or C permit. If you do not have a B permit it is easy to obtain one (particularly if you are an EU citizen, or are over the age of 50). We are able to assist clients with their B permit application as part of the purchase procdure. To find out more about how to make the most of your B permit by buying a holiday home or ski investment property please contact: Simon Malster

| Zermatt |

In our opionin Zermatt is the best resort in Europe and, as you would expect, property prices are high and it is not easy for foreigners to buy there. If you have a B permit then you are permitted to buy an apartment in Zermatt as a rental investment. So if you are residing in Geneva or Zurich you can buy in Zermatt but you are obliged to rent your property out. To buy a property in Zermatt as a second residence or holiday home you must have your place of residence as Zermatt and pay your Swiss taxes there.
