Best dual season resort Villars A personal favourite - one of the most attractive, most easily accessible, dual season resorts in the Alps. Only 90 minutes from Geneva airport, and with excellent train connections, it is easy to visit for a long weekend. Villars has benefited from massive investment in recent years including three new high speed 4-man and 6-man chair-lifts, and two new 125-man cable cars on the glacier of Les Diablerets (accessible by skis from Villars) and snow making machines. An excellent resort for children and non-skiers. |
Buy High Saas Fee A high altitude traditional traffic-free village in a dramatic setting surrounded by glaciers and oozing Swiss charm. Set at 1800m and with most of the skiing between 2,500 and 3,500m snow is guaranteed and most national ski teams train on the glacier ski area. Fast cable cars and an underground funicular whisk you up from the resort to 3,500m. Wonderful atmosphere and good night life too. Best access to a huge ski area ![]() Les Collons and Veysonnaz At the end of the four valleys Verbier ski area in the French speaking part of Switzerland under 2 hours from Geneva and just 25 minutes from Sion. These resorts are much less expensive than Verbier but have direct access to the massive verbier ski region which offers over 400 km of skiing! Les Collons is at 1800m East and South facing with panoramic views to the Matterhorn and Veysonnaz is an old village at 1400m. In Les Collons we are marketing a new development of detached and linked chalets just 150m from the lift at Les Masses. A new chalet could have been bought a year ago for under 1m sfrs but prices are going up fast! In Veysonnaz the Chalet Ski Paradise is just 150m from the new telecabine and will have a fabulous "wellness" with sauna and jacuzzi. The spacious three bedroom apartments will have great views and will be built to a very high standard in traditional style.

Best up and coming resorts
Val d'Anniviers - St Luc There are some undiscovered gems in this valley just over 2 hours drive from Geneva. The sunniest of them is St Luc at an altitude of 1600m with skiing up to 3,100m accessed directly from the village. This is a very attractive traditional village some centuries old. We are marketing the "Chalets sur la Piste" which as the name suggests is a fabulous development of detached chalets on the ski piste at 1750m. The chalets are ski in, ski out and just ten minutes walk from the centre of the village and have stunning views. |
Austria - great value! Stadl Just over 1 hour from Salzburg this region is primarily known for its many lakes as well as the majestic Hohe Tauern mountain range. With skiing between 1700 and 2200m it boasts some of Austria's most snow sure skiing yet also benefits from over 200 days sunshine a year, making it a truly dual season resort. France - Great dual season value!
Chamonix area Chamonix is a lively and beautiful Alpin town located less than one hour from the airport of Geneva. Chamonix is set at the foot of Mont Blanc, Europe's highest mountain at 16,000 feet, and has been a major alpine centre since the 19th century. Chamonix is a fascinating traditional ski resort with a bustling atmosphere.The skiing is divided into 5 main areas comprised of 76 runs. It is also a perfect dual season reasort as summertime is also very lively. Only 20 minutes from Chamonix is located Vallorcine, a small and traditionnal alpine village.
