Resort: Mayens de Riddes is just 1 hour 45 minutes by motorway from Geneva and offers a much cheaper alternative to Verbier although it is just one ski lift away - take the telecabine out of Mayens de Riddes up to 2300m and ski down into the centre of Verbier. The huge Verbier ski area has over 400km of pistes up to 3,330m offering the most challenging skiing in Switzerland.
