Veysonnaz is part of the Verbier ski area and is one of the best of the villages which link into the Verbier ski system. Access is easy from Geneva in just one hour 45 minutes and it is motorway almost all the way. It is a traditional mountain village at 1350m with beautiful views over the Rhone valley and to the Bernese Alps.
A new high speed lift takes you from Veysonnaz into the Verbier ski area and gives access to skiing on Mont-Fort (3330m). The immediate ski area has a mix of beginners and intermediate slopes and is blissfully un-crowded but with 410km of ski piste and some famous off piste skiing, Veysonnaz is every skiers dream.
The village is attractive in both seasons and there are tennis courts, swimming pool, climbing wall, beach volleyball, archery, biking, and plenty of mountain trails. Click here for more information on this resort.

This attractive traditional style apartment building is just 150m from the ski lift and at the foot of the slopes. Between the chalet and the lift are the tourist office, ski rental shop, two bars and a restaurant! The chalet will have just 10 apartments which will share a deluxe spa with sauna and a Jacuzzi. Next door will be a wine tasting room where each apartment will have a private wine cellar and there will be huge table and benches so you can enjoy a few glasses with friends while your children are in the "wellness".
The spacious two bedroom apartments start at 485,000 sfrs. The three bedroom apartments have two bathrooms and are 111m2 and in addition have large balconies and are priced from 945,000 sfrs. Owners will not be obliged to rent their apartments but many of them would like to cover their ownership costs by renting their apartments so we have asked the leading UK ski tour operator to set up a special dedicated website for the development.

With so many cheap flights to Geneva and with such an easy transfer to Veysonnaz you could easily visit as a day trip but if you prefer to stay the night we can recommend a good hotel in Sierre with an award winning restaurant. There are also flights with www.snowjet.co.uk from London to Sion at the weekends making this the shortest transfer in the Alps.
