Resort: Bad Kleinkirchheim is a beautiful town set in the gently rolling mountains of Austria’s southern Carinthia province, less than an hour from Klagenfurt Airport, or 1 hour 40 minutes from Salzburg Airport. Winter: With over 100km of pistes from 1090 to 2055m high, Bad Kleinkirchheim has a wide range of slopes to keep keen skiers busy. Of the town’s pistes, 75% are classified as red, 17% are blue and 8% are black, with many featuring vertical drops of up to 1000m. The town also offers 54km of cross country tracks reaching up to 1900m high. Additionally Bad Kleinkirchheim boasts 23 mountainside restaurants and huts.

Summer: Bad Kleinkirchheim is surrounded by peaks towering up to 2500m. Its location in the Nockberge national park offers over 1000km of wellmaintained hiking trails. Furthermore, hammocks set up near streams and waterfalls offer a respite from the summer heat and are a great place from which to appreciate the untouched mountains, clean air and crystal clear streams. For an easier route up the mountains several cable cars operate throughout summer. Keen golfers are also well catered for in Bad Kleinkirchheim with the scenic 18 hole “Kaiserburg” golf course, while beginners can perfect their skills on the trial courses and six hole practice green.
