Summer: during the summertime Hohentauern offers plenty of activities and superb surroundings with mountain hikes, horse riding, mountain biking, tennis, bowling and golf. Hohentauern has over five lakes for swimming, fishing and fun in the summer; as well as tennis courts and a football pitch. In addition there is also a Celtic themed nature park called Der Keltenberg which opens from May to October.
