Resort: Kühtai is Austria’s highest ski resort at an altitude of 2020m. It is snow sure from the beginning of December until well into spring. This is a traditional farming village and not a purpose built resort therefore oozing Tyrolean charm!
Winter: Oetz is only 35 minutes from the historic town of Innsbruck and its airport making this village a truly weekendable destination! The village is surrounded by 360 degrees skiing and feels like your own private resort. The Innsbruck ski area comprises 282km of skiing serviced by 78 lifts and is connected with a free shuttle service.
Summer: Summertime is fabulous in Kühtai with picture perfect valleys, lakes and rivers, and plenty of hiking and cycling. Take the cable car to the top of the tree line and start a breathtaking hike down, you can even take your bikes in the cable car and cycle down stopping at mountain restaurants on the way. As you hike down you will find yourself surrounded by beautiful pastures with cows with bells on and horses grazing in the valley of Kühtai.
