Resort: Mayens de Riddes, also known as La Tzoumaz, is just 25 minutes from Sion, and 1 hour 45 minutes from Geneva airport and is part of the huge Four Valleys (Verbier) ski area in the heart of the Valais Alps, in the French speaking part of Switzerland. It is perfect for a weekend visit and at 1500m it is snow sure. Mayens de Riddes is just one ski lift from Verbier. A new télécabine whisks you up to over 2300m and then it is a gentle cruise down to the Savolyeres slopes above Verbier. Mayens de Riddes has a number of bars and restaurants, ski shops and all the usual facilities.
Winter: The Verbier ski area is the largest in Switzerland with over 410km of pistes on one lift pass. There a slopes for all abilities and some fabulous off-piste skiing.
Summer: There is plenty to do in the Rhone Valley with golf courses, outdoor swimming pools and natural spas, horse riding, mountain biking, and tennis. The pass is open in the summer so you can drive over to Verbier in 15 minutes.
Property: Prices in Mayens de Riddes are half the price of Verbier and it is possible to have a new chalet built to order directly on the ski slopes.

Chalet Christian is on the ski slopes in Mayens de Riddes at an altitude of 1700m. There are 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, sauna, living room and an open fire place. Foreign purchase permits available.
Chalet Julia is a new luxury chalet built to a very high standard which comes with it's own 600m2 forest! The chalet is split onto 5 levels and has 11 bedrooms including a separate 2 bedroom apartment.
