Dating back to the 13th century, Stuben has retained its authentic charm, thanks to the generations of local families and Alpine traditions. Known for being the childhood home of ski pioneer Hannes Schneider, Stuben is closely linked to the origins of modern Alpine skiing and his influence played a key role in bringing international visitors to the region.
Situated at 1410m at the end of the Klostertal valley, Stuben is the smallest village in the Arlberg region, offering a peaceful and intimate atmosphere.
