As snow begins to fall and ski jackets are taken out of cupboards, the dream of owning your own chalet becomes more prominent. The season has finally started. It’s a popular time at Investors in Property with countless visits, a dazzling array of new properties and more and more clients eager to buy. Every one of our team has a different favourite amongst the listings, so we have highlighted a top three from each country.

Switzerland 

Adelaide, Grimentz



Adelaide is an exceptionally rare development in Switzerland owing to both its new build and second home status. Most newly built developments in Switzerland require owners to rent out their property, however, in Adelaide owners are free to enjoy their property however they wish; rent it out, keep it empty, use it yourself or lend it to friends and family. The freedom is yours.

It’s not just this that makes the project so special, it’s the extraordinary property itself. Offering apartments, penthouses and chalets, Adelaide caters to all and gives the option for owners to customise the finish to their own taste. The Edge, Samnaun



The Edge has received a high amount of interest this season and we are not surprised. Samnaun is a rather hidden resort located in Switzerland but right on the edge of Austria, giving immediate access into Ischgl with a peak altitude of 2875m. For those who want to buy in Austria but are not able to due to the strict rules and/or lack of an EU citizenship, Samnaun is a perfect alternative. Enjoy Ischgl but with the added benefits of duty-free shopping, quieter crowds and lower prices over in Samnaun. 

The Edge is a brand-new development built of 22 luxury apartments with one to three bedrooms at a starting price of CHF 1,066,436. The properties are contemporary, sleek and enjoy the most stunning views of the mountains and quaint Swiss village. Exceptional hotel services are available as well as professional rental management, on-site dining, and an extensive wellness area featuring a swimming pool, sauna and steam bath. With a prime ski in position, owners of The Edge have the slopes of Austria and Switzerland right by their door. 

Wengenhof, Wengen



Dating back to 1898, Wengenhof is a truly quintessential Swiss property. It was fully renovated in 2001 and now features modern fittings and interiors with the historical charm still retained within the walls. The duplex apartment is positioned on the top floor and offers nothing but impressive features: from breathtaking views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley to five-star hotel amenities such as a spa and restaurant, this property won’t be available for long.

Wengenhof has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, an equipped kitchen and a south-west facing balcony. The interiors are open plan, bathed in natural sunlight and the duplex is sold fully furnished. France

Les Gourmets, Morzine



Come 2026, you could be sitting in your brand-new penthouse in the heart of Morzine, surrounded by the cheerful buzz of the village and ready to head to the slopes, tennis courts, mountains or for a hearty French dinner. Perfectly positioned, Les Gourmets enjoys a highly sought-after and central location in Morzine just 200 metres from the Super Morzine Gondola. A new Avoriaz Gondola is also planned and set to be built right next door to the development.

With properties offering between one to five bedrooms at starting prices of EUR 438,000, this new development is great for any size of family. Created by a renowned developer in Morzine, the project promises nothing but excellence with local stone, wood and stunning fittings. The kitchens come fully equipped and each unit features a balcony and/or terrace.

La Dame Blanche, Les Menuires



Moving over into Les Trois Vallees, if you’re an avid skier, what’s more to wish for other than ski in, ski out access to over 600km of world-famous pistes? La Dame Blanche will have you more than satisfied. Positioned just a short walk from the centre of Les Menuires, the properties claim exceptionally sunny, south facing views soaked in peace and quiet.

The units provide three to six bedrooms with prices starting at EUR 735,000. A few of the units come with additional spa facilities such as a sauna, and all properties feature fireplaces, ski lockers, cellars, and parking. The rental potential is extremely high, making it an excellent investment.

Stallion D01, Megeve



Stallion D01 is a property worth putting in the spotlight this season. If privacy, prestige, and excellence feature in your criteria, then this apartment could be the one for you. It has two bedrooms and an asking price of EUR 770,000. Built in 2021, the interiors are up to a high standard and feature designer appliances throughout; fortunately, the property is sold fully furnished.

Located in a quiet and secluded part of Rochebrune, Stallion D01 is the perfect place to unwind and take in the stillness of the mountain snow. Enjoy the tranquillity from your bedroom, balcony, or perhaps in the sauna, swimming pool or hammam. To reach the slopes, there is a free shuttle bus just 150 metres from the development taking you straight to the mountains in no time.

Austria 

Brunnenhof, Lech



We currently have two very prestigious apartments for sale in the charming Brunnenhof development in the centre of Lech. A two-bedroom apartment for EUR 2,500,000 and a four-bedroom property at EUR 5,150,000; both units can easily accommodate guests thanks to their large floor areas (87 and 76m²) and spacious interiors.

Nexus Suiten, Stuben



Nestled in one of the most tranquil parts of the Arlberg, Nexus Suiten is set to be one of Stuben’s most exciting new developments. Offering commanding mountain views and direct access to Austria’s iconic ski area, this collection of luxury apartments and penthouses has already drawn significant attention. The residences range from two to five bedrooms and feature generous floor areas with beautifully finished interiors, private saunas, cosy fireplaces and fully furnished living spaces.
