What are the buying options in Austria?

Second Home

A property with second home status means that there is no obligation to rent out your property. These types of property are very rare, however, we do have a small selection available. An example of a property with second home status is the wonderful Magnolie in Saalbach and Hunting Lodge in Hollersbach.

Fully Managed
These types of properties offer a fully managed rental service whereby the developer works with a large tour operator who will efficiently handle all your rentals. The operator will pay you a quarterly or monthly income as well as handle all your bookkeeping. Knowing that everything is sorted for you, all you need to do as an owner is book your dates to stay in advance. With fully managed properties sometimes the tour operator will offer a guaranteed rental return for a fixed period of time.

Flexible Renting
Flexible renting means that you have the choice over who manages your rentals. If you choose a tour operator, they will advertise your property, manage your online bookings, meet and greet your guests. These operators will also organise all cleaning and laundry once your guests have left. If you choose to rent privately, you can make your own web site to advertise your property, use a holiday rental portal, or simply advertise with word-of-mouth through friends and family.
