IIP Top Five Bestselling Ski Resorts

16 Feb, 2016 by Investors In Property
Buying a ski property is a long process; it takes time to decide what you want and then more time to find something that covers most of your checklist. So to help you with the search, we’ve pulled together our IIP top five bestselling ski resorts.

So without further ado, here are our five best ski resorts in which to buy property.

Les Collons

One of a number of small, picturesque villages in the Verbier ski area, buying in Les Collons is a fantastic way to get access to the excellent skiing in the famous 4 Valleys area without dealing with the sizable price tag attached to its better known neighbour.

Les Menuires

A great way to buy affordable property in the Three Valleys has always been to buy in one of the satellite villages; Les Menuires is seeing a huge amount of development that will bring an increasing amount of chalet-style charm to the purpose built resort.

Chatel

One of last season’s best resorts, Chatel itself boasts some superb skiing, and also enjoys easy access to the Portes du Soleil area. With an attractive chalet style town and a charming, traditional atmosphere, the resort is seeing plenty of new investment including lift infrastructure providing better links to Avoriaz.

La Tania

The resort that sits between Courchevel and Meribel is often overlooked when it comes to the Three Valleys, but it offers more ski in / ski out access than is available in any of the other ski towns in the area. Its central street is well away from the main road, and it’s well positioned to catch the sunlight on the terraces.

Wengen

Wengen is a traditionally pretty resort in the stunning Jungfrau region, which manages to retain its charm due in large part to the car free centre (you can only get to Wengen via an old-fashioned cog railway). Aside from being a genuinely lovely village, the resort benefits from having excellent skiing on the doorstep and the famous Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains within view.
