The IIP Top Six Chalets for Six Week Purchases

01 Dec, 2016 by Investors In Property
There are a number of different options available when it comes to ski property, and all of them have their merits. From the completely bespoke new build apartments to luxury facilities with rental management, whatever it is you’re looking for is guaranteed to be out there somewhere.

One of the more overlooked types of ski property out there at the moment though, is the resale. We’re not talking, “gut it and use the shell” type resale either.

Properties ready for you to walk straight into are unusually underrated at the moment, and the benefits of buying new build property currently outweigh the benefits of buying resale. So to try and redress the balance a little, here are our top chalets for six-week purchases.

Chalet Belleau, Megeve

Ski-in ski-out in one of the most exclusive areas of the classic ski resort of Megeve, this chalet is a cut above. It boasts the typical local style of antique beams, traditional farmhouse style and chic luxury interior design.

Matterhorn Chalet, Les Collons

Perched high on the mountainside, Matterhorn Chalet is stylishly designed with modern interiors and a classic Swiss exterior. The biggest selling point is definitely the panoramic mountain views and the large, sunny terrace.

Chalet Uhu, Saas Fee

One of the rare examples of whole chalets in Saas Fee, Uhu sits in a peaceful position a little way out from the centre of the resort. It’s spread over three floors, and has a stylish blend of classic Alpine and sleek modern interiors.

Chalet Ahorn, Wengen

As one of the most distinctive ski resorts in Switzerland, Wengen property is always popular. Chalet Ahorn is a stunning family chalet, with breath-taking mountain views and a light, airy atmosphere throughout.

Kirchberg Chalet, Kirchberg

A beautiful Austrian farmhouse in the charming village of Kirchberg, which shares a ski area with the more famous Kitzbuhel, this is a traditional luxury chalet in an excellent position close to the centre of the village.

Chalet Spa, Verbier

One for the high rollers, this chalet is in a class of its own. It is fully run as a business already, with a full spa area, staff and a cosy open plan living and dining area. All the furnishing is of the highest quality, and the fabulous outside space makes this one of the best dual season options around.
